Dishing out droolworthy, healthy food that won't cause the arteries to clog!

Poem to self- On Neethi's bday-22nd March 2021

Today is the day when I feel as old as the hills,

Checking my mailbox only to find not letters, but bills!

There's plenty more silver in my teeth and hair,

While 56 year old limbs, show signs of wear and tear!

 The bust and belly have long migrated to the south,

 crinkles around the eyes and wrinkles about the mouth! 

And I realise I may be termed clinically insane, 

Because I admired the indigo hue on my calf of a new born varicose vein!!

But what hasn't changed over the years is my sense of happiness 

The ability to be moved by a random act of kindness,

The doggedness to look very hard till I find the brighter side,

My admiration for honesty in folks who have nothing to hide! 

And the sheer joy that comes from being even virtually with friends of yore,

Who make everything seem like a breeze and never a chore!

Who laugh at the silliest stuff and make this world more fun,

 For all your kind words girls, thanks and wishing you all the best things under the sun!
